Warner Bros. sets 'Argo' for Sept. 14
Warner Bros. will open Ben Affleck's hostage thriller "Argo" on Sept. 14. "Argo," which concentrates on the operation to save six People in america within the 1979 Iran hostage crisis, may be the second title around the date following Sony's "Resident Evil 5." Warner introduced Wednesday it had dated "Gangster Squad" for March. 19, 2012. "Argo" is directed by Affleck and created by George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Affleck. It stars Affleck, Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston and John Goodman. Warner gave Affleck's "The CityInch exactly the same weekend this past year, opening that title on Sept. 17.
